Meaning of the Crest

Originating from Spain, the Aguiling Family Coat of Arms displays the eagle, the letter "A" and the 2 red roses. The family name appears on a banner below the shield.

The shield signifies the clan name represented by the eagle's head. The two red roses represent "Fair Ladies." Four alternating black and yellow stripes represent "Night & Day."

In essence, the coat of arms means "Defender of Women in the Darkness of Night and the Light of Day."
